# Deploy Resources

Create your model vendor API resources as **channels** to connect them to Poixe AI. Once a channel is available, the system dispatches user requests to these channels, generating revenue for you.

## Entry point

* Vendor panel → **Channel Management**
* Click **Add New Channel** in the upper right corner

## Create a channel

Channels can be added in two ways: **Automatic** / **Manual**.

### Automatic (recommended)

Suitable for most cases.

1. Select **Automatic**
2. Select the **model series** and **API vendor**
3. Paste your keys (one per line; batch supported)

   * For Azure resources, follow the on-page instructions (usually each line contains the Endpoint and Key, separated by a space)
4. Set the **price** (your buyback price)
5. Set the **maximum consumption limit** (controls how much balance/quota this channel can consume at most)
6. Click **Create**

The system automatically:

* Connects to and validates your API
* Detects available models
* Adds the available models to the channel

> Note: Automatic detection and addition incur a small amount of consumption (used to probe and fetch model capabilities).

### Manual

For cases where you only want to provide **specific models** or a special configuration.

1. Select **Manual**
2. Fill in the name, API endpoint, model series, and API vendor
3. Select/enter the models and keys
4. Set the price and maximum consumption
5. Create

Note:

* With manual addition, you must ensure the **models are actually available**.
  If a model is unavailable, you lack permission, or the configuration is wrong, the channel may be disabled automatically by the system.

## Update channel models (Tools panel)

When a vendor releases new models (for example, new OpenAI releases), you can use the **Tools panel** to sync the models a channel supports in bulk:

1. Channel Management → **Tools Panel** in the upper right
2. Select **Update Channel Models**
3. Click **Start Update**

The system runs this asynchronously:

* Scans the models the channel currently supports
* Adds newly available models to the channel (per system rules)

Update results are recorded in the **Channel Management Log**.

## Channel Management Log

Automated actions related to channels (for example, model updates, disabling/enabling, and status changes) are all recorded here for troubleshooting and auditing.

Common entries include:

* Automatic channel model updates
* Channel disabled/enabled (with a reason note)
* Automatic disabling due to insufficient balance / exhausted quota
* Model not found or no permission (detected by the system, then flagged and handled)

## Day-to-day recommendations

* **Prefer automatic addition**: It's easier, and model syncing is more reliable.
* **Set a maximum consumption limit**: Prevents a single channel from consuming too much if something goes wrong.
* **Check channel status and logs regularly**: Balance, error reasons, and whether the system has disabled a channel can all be quickly located here.
